On Thursday, we had the privilege of listening to Mr. Lotz and Thea present about their Riversweep project that they took part in. This is the annual volunteer environmental cleanup event for the Cuyahoga River and Ohio Canal their surrounding neighborhoods. What awesome action takers they are! The kids had lots of questions and were very interested in participating in this event next year. The link to the website is listed below! Check it out and become part of the team! Thank you Mr. Lotz and Thea for the wonderful presentation!

On Friday, we had two Career Day Presentations. Dahlia's mom (from Mrs. Snyder's Kindergarten Class), Dr. Davis, presented about her career as a Pediatrician. She donated a doctor's toy kit to our classroom as well! We cannot thank her enough for her awesome presentation!
Next up, we had a violinist share her talents with us. She played us some contemporary tunes as well as some traditional tunes. We even had the chance to sing along with her as she played twinkle twinkle and dance along as she played an Irish jig! What cool learning opportunities our CIS kiddos have!
